2009 William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize

A while ago I stumbled upon this Flickr set of the finalists for the above mentioned award. I was intrigued by the amount of $$$ awarded to the winner.

It's a whopping $20,000!!!

I put a note to check the winning photo, which was announced yesterday, 26th November 2009.

Anyway - have a look at the Flickr set and try to guess the winner!

Personally, I find that though there are some really good photos in the set, some of them are rather bland, and a few were... a tad disturbing. :P
Perhaps I need to work on my "art" vision!
